That land belongs to all of us, not to the wackos who want to secede. They're free to leave the country, but the territory remains in the US.

Not to mention that we can't abandon the good people who live there to the mercy of the wackos.

ETA: State bashing is BS. All states have good and bad. The idea of a state seceding is crazy, everyone knows it won't happen.
Arizona has some nuts, as does every state. We also have a few good people.
