For what it's worth, the Dallas Cowboys were last evaluated to be worth more than $3 billion. All told, American companies are sitting on $1.7 TRILLION. Here's why the cash hoarding is bad for the economy:
The bad news is that at least some of these corporate giants still aren't willing to spend their cash on new equipment, new hires and new research. It would be a big economic boost if companies went on a spending spree. Shareholders would also like bigger dividends given all this cash companies have on hand.

I wonder if this is part of the Dominionist agenda? We need to organize push back that is sustainable and socially responsible. I'm sure others here have better ideas...it's a good question.

(18,290 posts)Taxing them is not the solution. I have no issue with churches' tax exempt status; they're not the reason the nation has fallen down the economic pit.

(6,476 posts)To promote their agenda which has held back any action that would correct our failed policy's, domestic, foreign and economic. Tax them, they are political. If they aren't then no tax...the IRS, or whoever oversees this should prosecute and enforce our laws with regard to these groups. This includes the laws overseeing PAC money.
