Mouthbreathing Machiavellis Dream of a Silicon Reich

Mouthbreathing Machiavellis Dream of a Silicon Reich
Corey Pein May 19, 2014

One day in March of this year, a Google engineer named Justine Tunney created a strange and ultimately doomed petition at the White House website. The petition proposed a three-point national referendum, as follows:

1. Retire all government employees with full pensions.
2. Transfer administrative authority to the tech industry.
3. Appoint [Google executive chairman] Eric Schmidt CEO of America.

This could easily be written off as stunt, a flamboyant act of corporate kiss-assery, which, on one level, it probably was. But Tunney happened to be serious. “It’s time for the U.S. Regime to politely take its exit from history and do what’s best for America,” she wrote. “The tech industry can offer us good governance and prevent further American decline.”

Too radical for "radicals" kind of gal. Good to know she's nothing to worry about; I was ready to get my hackles up in a dander.

Edit: The more I read about her, the more despicable she gets. She really isn't a good individual. Either she holds her views sincerely, making her nasty person, or she doesn't, making her a nasty troll.

Tunney opposes incorporating ideas and perspectives from progressive social campaigns such as feminism into video games.
Tunney has described Occupy Wall Street as a far-left movement.[10] Her former comrades have described her as a technocratic fascist.

In February 2014, Tunney took back exclusive control of the Occupy Wall Street Twitter account, which she had originally created, removing posting access to most of the activists who previously had access. She stated that she was a "founding organizer" of the movement.[8][9] She wrote that she locked down the Twitter account partly in order to keep it from being just a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party.

Okay, that one is actually funny, because the Democratic Party kicked OWS to the curb when OWS would not let the Democratic Party use it.

CEO of America? That's what we are going to end up with, with these corporate trade agreements - but that is most certainly not Leftwing Moonbat" stuff.

ows didn't accomplish anything! I think it was a way to keep the left busy while not actually pressing for any changes to stop the Wall Street banks.

7. Tunney was being satirical, pointing out the future of America if the creeping fascism is not stopped now.
