It won't be HRC, but I am open to giving my time and effort to Sanders, Warren, or Webb... Based on those I know or have heard about so far. I would also love to offer support for Gore, Franken, or another liberal....

(14,195 posts)HRC is not progressive, neither is Webb but his voting record and history is closer to mine than HRC's. I will take a candidate who can challenge HRC any day over her royal highness.

(14,195 posts)Go for it. You think female R's will support her becuz she has a vagina instead of a cock? It's like asking who we want to have a beer with, for heavens sake. Like we ever Will have a beer with the Prez and like it matters what sex the Prez is.... I am a woman, and frankly I don't care.

(14,195 posts)But mainstream R's will come out in droves to defeat her. And a lot of progressives and liberals will not vote for her. So have fun with your choice, but I seriously doubt there is a way she gets the White House

(14,195 posts)And there is now way HRC wins, no matter how much the media wants her too. The reason she is high in the polls is name recognition. That is all. And frankly, the more the public knows her, the less they like her. Check her numbers after her recent book tour.

(19,877 posts)You realize if she does win the nomination she'll be running against a Republican, right?

It is a waste of pixels.
If you aren't for Hill, then you are for the Repuglicans.
And, you are correct, in my assessment: the most likely to lose Democratic nominee would be Hillary Clinton. She is too pro-Wall Steet for progressives; she is Clinton/Satan for conservatives; and for everyone else (the non-political majority) ... after hearing her glib answers and blurting cackle laugh, you just want her to go away.

Outsourcing will continue, Mrs. Clinton said in New Delhi. There is no way to legislate against reality... We are not in favor of putting up fences.
Webb is not a corporate shill like Hillary either. He has a strong military background and can garner support from Moderate R's as well as independents. He is not my first choice, but he is a solid candidate. I was not always happy with his votes in the Senate (he was my senator) but overall his record is good.
