Amnesty for 100% of Ferguson citizens period!
Wheres that Ferguson cop shooter? This is why the MSM & Ferguson are SILENT about that supposedly cop shooter suspect. But dont worry, theyre concocting another scheme to distract us from the FILTH IN FERGUSON!
Its 2015, and if the white folks in power in Ferguson cant grab black folks from Africa, chain them, and bring them to America, and treat them like chattel for sale, TICKET THEM, FINE THEM, LOCKEM UP, RINSE & REPEAT!

(42,641 posts)I only noticed black people in the lines. Do they have a "whites only" line at the City Hall?
And yes, the shooting happened at just the right time to distract white America from the fact that people of color are generally the victims of police violence at much higher rates than whites.
There was also a good recent post here about police in Colorado Springs "forgetting" to turn on the body cameras right before they abuse people.

(84,057 posts)I am also sure it is very short if it exists at all. I see we have breaking news on an arrest of the cop shooter now. Not posted here yet that I can see, I have been away all day and I don't post breaking news here.

(135,425 posts)I think the people who have been wrongfully fined need to sue. They deserve compensation AND damages. It's egregious what happened in Ferguson, and what happens elsewhere. Bogus tickets, starting court early and declaring that the defendants didn't show up, all sorts of dirty tricks. Amnesty isn't enough. There needs to be some payback, some damages, and a wiping clean of the slate because the whole system is dirty.
And then, the good people of Ferguson, who have been victimized thusly, need to get in the game and start running candidates for public office. There's no color in that government at all--it's a caucasian leadership, by and large.

(84,057 posts)I also read somewhere that there is an election coming up and they are running a few of their own candidates. However, they still need to get more people registered and informed of when and where to vote. They found when canvasing the neighborhoods that many were registered but uninformed. It went on to say they needed a system like we have, robo calls to get out the vote, flyers, copies of the ballot posted at town hall, post offices, libraries etc. Wish I could find the link, it talked about the candidates that were running. If I run across it I will get it to you.

I'm glad they were fired or resigned after the Justice report. I hope to see more of that as well, more house cleaning is still needed and not just in Ferguson.
Good to see you Cha.
