A fed-up Liberal American has decided that his home state of Alabama has become a disappointment, so he listed the state on eBay. He has 22 bids, but unfortunately, the highest anyone is willing to pay so far is $102.50. Ive screenshotted the listing for you because eBay will likely take it down. You can click to view the full size images.

(1,970 posts)At first I was surprised that someone thinks Alabama is worth $102.50.
But on second thought maybe they are offering $102.50 to anyone who will take Alabama off their hands. You know, like paying someone to haul your junk to the dump.

(254 posts)...but I'd have to offer a bribe as this state isn't worth a plug nickel (what ever that is). I'm on disability so the bribe will have to stay small-ish. How's $10 sound for an opening bribe bid?
Ha,ha,ha,haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
