The FCC's new net neutrality rules should take several years to implement, assuming they aren't struck down by ISP lawsuit. They of course also might be struck down should a Republican take the White House in 2016 and replace FCC leadership. One of those Presidential candidates is of course Jeb Bush, who this week shared his thoughts on net neutrality. Despite support for net neutrality from Republican and Democrat alike, Bush insists protections will hurt consumers and innovators:

(14,733 posts)Net neutrality is about equality for all, not more access for more money. The internet allows everyone's voices to be heard, not just the voices of the rich. And they hate that. They thought they'd won the war when they won Citizen's United, but it was only one battle.
