Rep John Lewis' reaction to the 'Selma' movie...

LINK: Ava DuVernay: Saluting our friend and hero @repjohnlewis today during #Selma50. The depths of my love and respect for him and his courage is difficult to articulate. This photo was taken after an early screening of SELMA, our small cinematic gesture of honor to him and all the freedom fighters who moved us forward using their very bodies as the weapons, their minds as the fuel, their spirit as the compass. God bless them all - all the freedom fighters - past, present and future. To watch Congressman Lewis introduce the President, THIS President, on the very bridge that 50 years ago he was beaten and bloodied on as a young man? Overwhelming.

like that. Seems appropriate here. Otherwise, words escape me.

He is quite the inspiring person.

He is winning and the dream is slowly coming true.
