(14,177 posts)No I am not voting for her in the primary. No I am not a party unity type. However, she is better than a GOPer. But, wow I can't get over how weird that was. It was weird wasn't it?

(14,177 posts)OTOH I don't get out much and other than reading the boards and watching clips that are posted, I don't listen to politicians all that much. So, that was really weird to me. Like it broke my weird-o-meter. Oh and I like weird, just not that one.

(72,790 posts)She is very weird. And creepy. I've never liked her personally. Just something about her. Creepy. That's really all I could describe it as.
did you ever see that Star Trek episode where the crew made these robots heads explode by saying illogical things to them? I feel a bit like that right now.

(14,177 posts)that was one of the better, funnier episodes. Anyway the robots were completely functional androids and anything illogical could shut them down. They ended up exploding over phrases like hot is cold, the moon is more luminous than the sun, these aren't actually what they said, I forget the actual dialog it was a lifetime ago when I saw that, but you get the drift.

It's simple: for 2016, as long as Hillary is polling better than any alternative, it would be foolish to have any alternative. If the unthinkable does happen, and someone starts polling better than Hillary, then it would be foolish to have Party unity at that point.

(10,622 posts)It seems she just assumes that they will vote in sufficient numbers for her to win regardless of the nasty racist shit she pulled.

(45,851 posts)I can't really say I blame Hillary for thinking that.

(12,647 posts)Hillary was so filled with Third Way Democratic party unity, after she realized she couldn't win the nomination, she and Bill went on a tear and publicly pumped up McCain. LOL But hey, that's OK in the New Democratic party! So get with the game, Fumey!

(45,851 posts)Was that before or after McCain picked Palin as his running mate?
Oilwellian
(12,647 posts)I believe it was before...video is dated June, 2008. Who knows what her intentions were. I never have seen another Democrat lose a primary and then support the Republican candidate. Perhaps she was hoping he would name HER as his running mate. LOL

(861 posts)It seems like a good response to those claiming that in the name of party unity we must get behind Hillary early!
