(23,664 posts)Maybe Clinton should have given this some thought when she was so eager to trash Obama's Syria policy.

(7,393 posts)All true. But it is why we find ourselves in the minority so often. The Democratic party circular firing squad is well known for making sure we don't retain political power. And that includes supposed Democratic party "supporters."
As long as you agree not to whine when the GOP crushes us I guess it's all good.

(6,048 posts)***At the State Department, spokeswoman Marie Harf said, there was no prohibition on using a non-state.gov account for official business, as long as its preserved.
In the process of updating our records management this is something thats sort of ongoing given technology and the changes we reached out to all of the former secretaries of state to ask them to provide any records they have, she said.
Clinton was the only former secretary to send back e-mail records in response to the departments request, Harf said.***
My sides still hurt from reading Jeb Bush's quote about transparency.

(86,897 posts)Maybe people should actually read the federal guidelines they pretend to cite... and leave out the biased interpretation. If you read through the guidelines at any federal job you will find that it bear very little similarity to what is being bloviated here and elsewhere in the hillary-hate-o-sphere.
Amazing how glaring evidence is swiftly brushed/cast aside in order to engage in the hatefest while it's hot.

(36,063 posts)I have no idea about the trueness of report of an Obama directive.
But I always thought "the administration" includes all the people working in cabinet departments and agencies.

(86,897 posts)a component of the administration as well as other lesser known positions.
Not sure what you're getting at with that question.
As an occasional .gov user (employee with an agency email account) I am aware of and must comply with the several directives regarding its use and abuse.
I am sure that Ms. Clinton isn't so foolish as to let herself be open to ridicule over her term as SoS so I'm getting the sense that this is a witch hunt and is probably as much of or less of a scandal than "whitewater" was. Millions in taxpayer $$ were wasted on that wild goose chase designed to ruin the Clintons as are millions of taxpayer $$ about to be wasted on this BS too.
