Political Tweets on Twitter question (please help)

Hi I want to post a link on twitter to counteract a freeper who's doing the same thing.

He posted a link to some wordpress site with a hashtag. When you log on to twitter and
do a search for posts with that hashtag.

His tweet with the link comes up.

When I tried it with other wordpress site. (My tweet doesnt show up if I have a link) when you click on that hashtag.

How come it seems some people who post links in a tweet with a hashtag, and it will turn up with searches
on that hashtag but some dont.
Please dont delete this message, because its bugging the hell out of me.

Often links don't post because there are too many characters in them.

But my tweet actually goes through, it just the post wont show up if you search the hashtag.

3. sorry I havent explained my self correctly.

What i mean is this...

1: Someone may post a tweet, with a hashtag and a link.

2: When someone else does a search for a hashtag in the search box, that persons tweet will show up.

3:I posted a a tweet with a link and a hashtag.

4: The tweet shows up in my timeline okay.

5: But if someone else does a search for that hashtag, the tweet I did with a link wont show up.

Why is that?

Is it to stop spam?

Why do tweets from some people with links and a hashtag show up, when you do a search for that hashtag and from some
other people it doesnt.

4. I think some tweets are not searchable

It's possible that for posters with a low post count or maybe not enough followers (that is, a fairly new account with not much of a track record), a post that contains BOTH a link AND a hashtag will not be findable thru Twitter search. I think I've read that somewhere.
