Prince Andrew sex allegations: Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein 'had 21 phone numbers' for Bill Clinton
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/prince-andrew-sex-allegations-billionaire-jeffrey-epstein-had-21-phone-numbers-for-bill-clinton-9959491.html

Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted sex offender at the centre of a scandal that has seen allegations levelled at Prince Andrew that he had sex with an teenager, possessed up to 21 phone numbers for former President Bill Clinton stored in his computer, it has been claimed.

Epstein’s relationship with Mr Clinton has been previously reported on and it is known that between 2002-2005 he flew on the financier’s private jet on numerous occasions, both on charitable endeavours to places such as Africa, as well as to Epstein’s private Caribbean island, Little St James. It would later be alleged in court that Epstein organised orgies on that same private island in the US Virgin Islands.

Mr Clinton has faced no allegations over the events on the Caribbean island and in Florida, where police investigated claims that Epstein paid underage girls for sex. In 2008, Epstein, 61, pleaded guilty to a single charge of soliciting prostitution and was handed an 18-month jail sentence.

voter gives a shit.

My fear is that she'll offer up some mealy-mouthed middle of the road campaign, poll-tested to the gills, that gives people shit like "my most inspirational bible verse" instead of taking the actual leadership positions that the American people need, even though they might piss someone off.

Of course having 21 different phone numbers, or up to, is more that slightly strange. I know people around Bill's age and remembering one is hard enough.

Nothing about that in that story. In fact even the phones were just "allegations." You made up the "burner phone" thing out of whole cloth? Why?

This line is also in the story: "Mr Clinton has faced no allegations over the events on the Caribbean island and in Florida,"

What's your point here? You make up "burner phones," and try to tie Clinton to sex with underaged girls. Again, there is no evidence whatsoever that indicates that he had anything to do with that. No evidence? It didn't happen.

Find evidence, not anonymous allegations. Find a reference to "burner phones," or don't mention them, please. Please don't make things up. That's not a nice thing to do.

Just a suggestion-- innuendo, implications and conjecture are a rather big turn-off to rational voters. If you're simply attempting to sway to lowest hanging fruit, you're doing a good job. However, on the off chance you're attempting to persuade the rational voter, I'd suggest avoiding the Rush Limbaugh style of journalism (and if you're honest with yourself, you know that is precisely what you are doing, regardless of how you rationalize, or maintain a pretense of a sincere and genuine curiosity).

Me? No idea who I'll cast my primary vote for yet, I'm patient, the primaries haven't even started, and most of my attention is directed towards policy and analysis... but to be perfectly honest, posts such as yours viscerally tempt me to cast my ballot for the guys you hate.

Might as well be on a RW site. Same old crap around here.

You might want to note that the woman making the allegations against Epstein and prince Andrew denied being with Bill Clinton and said that she never saw him in any sexual situations with anyone.

"During the period that Roberts worked for Epstein he was good friends with Clinton, but she denies sleeping with him despite rumors to the contrary.

'I have seen reports saying or implying that I had sex with former President Bill Clinton on Little St James Island,' she writes in the filing.

The island, part of the U.S. Virgin Islands, is owned by Epstein.

'Clinton was present on the island at a time when I was also present on the island, but I have never had sexual relations with Clinton, nor have I ever claimed to have had such relations. I have never seen him have sexual relations with anyone,' Roberts wrote."

And then RAW and Gawker...and then nothing. 5 entire sources, with the biggest two being the same source! LOL!

I have no idea if the Clinton were on that plane, but I seriously doubt they would get on one called the Lolita Express. I've bought some stupid shit in my day...but have a hard time believing it. The plane IOW, was dubbed the 'Lolita Express' by the daily-mirror gee two British tabloids of ill repute.

What worries me more is the FACTS...that some rich asshole got only one month for having sex with underage girls. Over 30 of them, but that is not a direct correlation with Bill Clinton flying on that plane...which was probably called whatever planes have written on them in letters and numbers.

If they did in fact actually board a plane with the words Lolita Express on them, I would shit my pants. And since the sources lead back to ONE source (mirror owns dailymail), I have to conclude this is another spear campaign.

If I was the Clintons, I would distance myself from known pervert billionaires.

sox. Not to mention that people with large lives often have multiple telephone contacts. Burner phones are very popular security features. A burner allows me to give you 'my phone number' for purpose without opening my life to you entirely.

You mean in New York? Uh, yeah sure. We can nominate anyone to run in NY and they'll probably win.

This is a national election, not New York. In the only national contest Hillary ever ran, she ran against an unknown guy as a inevitable favorite and lost spectacularly. And she didn't have to deal with the allegation that Bill was on a plane with underage girls.

Tue Jan 27, 2015, 04:53 PM

Even then, all his allegations of cheating before Monica were well known but dismissed. He will not be given the benefit of the doubt now as an admitted cheater.

And if it was ever proven that he was on a plane with underage sex workers, God help us. There is no way to explain that. Hillary would be toast, and it would affect the senate and house races.

It isn't fair that she's tainted with his behavior, but life isn't fair. My question is, why put the party's welfare at risk when we do so well in presidential elections anyway? The demographic trends make it almost hopeless for the GOP. Against the GOP's joke candidates, we win if we run a clean candidate with no skeletons. So why take the risk? The GOP is hoping we run someone who has a huge scandal, it's the only way they can win.

You're the one who said false allegations against a candidate can torpedo a candidacy and used John Kerry as an example.

Not only did the swiftboating NOT defeat Kerry, the allegations against Clinton failed to bring him down three times.

So what other examples do you have?

Wed Jan 28, 2015, 03:17 AM
Jan 2015

Seriously, who the fuck in their right mind would get on a plane called the Lolita Express? That sounds so fucking unbelievable.

"It’s illegal for an American citizen to travel to another country solely to have underage sex, even if it’s legal in that country. Having sex in a private plane en route would be considered the same thing, according to legal references.

Epstein cut a deal in 2008 and pled guilty to one count of soliciting sex from an underage girl, which netted him all of one month in a Florida jail. But federal prosecutors allege his activities are far more extensive.

He abused as many as 35 underage girls, according to federal prosecutors."

ALL OF ONE MONTH!?

WOW.

Again, why would anyone get on a plane called the Lolita Express? Unfuckingbelievable.

So Epstein is into tweens...how fucking totally gross. I hope people here that have kids that are 14-16 think about that before replying. I am surprised the Clintons are friends of this ghoulish character.

As a guide:
Daily Mail is a right wing tabloid, but likes to think it's respectable. Anti-immigrant.
Daily Mirror is a populist leftish tabloid. Can be unreliable, but it was strongly against Bush*, and the invasion of Iraq.
The Independent, linked in the OP, is centrist, and a 'broadsheet' - ie non-tabloid, and on the whole reliable. You may find RW opinion in it, but, on the whole, it would be called left in the USA - pro-environment, for instance, and Robert Fisk writes for it.

Of the 3, only the Mail can be compared to the National Review or American Spectator. Fox News would be closer for it, however.
