Further proof that Obama is "weak" on terrorism.

The leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was “critically wounded” when a U.S.-led air strike targeted the western Iraqi border town of al-Qaim, tribal sources told Al Arabiya News Channel on Saturday.

U.S. Central Command confirmed in a statement that U.S.-led air strikes targeted ISIS leaders near their northern Iraqi hub of Mosul late Friday, without confirming whether Baghdadi was killed, AFP reported.

“This strike demonstrates the pressure we continue to place on the ISIL [ISIS] terrorist network and the group's increasingly limited freedom to maneuver, communicate and command," U.S. Central Command said.

Anbar province MP Mohammad al-Karbuli told Al Arabiya News Channel that coalition aircraft had targeted a gathering of ISIS leaders in al-Qaim that led to the killing of tens of people and wounded many more.

Congratulations to all involved including our POTUS.

I don't agree that many heads will grow from the decapitated snake, in fact it will hobble them immensely.

Couldn't happen to a not nicer guy.

when you grew up in an era that you didn't know what was going for the longest time if ever.

Now, thanks to the net, twitter, and every other social media device we find almost instantly.. but still have to be discerning, of course.

All they want is perpetual war to continue making profits.
Sadly, like all US presidents, Obama has given them what they want.
The politburo runs America.
Remember when he took out Bin Laden - Cheney claimed he was responsible - go figure.

Your job (and the job for all of us) is to adopt which ever of those "Obama bad" labels fits your political ideology most closely.

Not sure who your intended audience was, but IMO very few of us here are worried that Obama is "weak on terrorism."

Actually, the anger is over his picking up and running with the PNAC/MIC/neocon warmongering-for-profit agenda, just as though this were Bush's third and fourth terms.

New war in Iraq, new war in Syria, money and ammo for carpet-bombing of captive population in Gaza, TRILLION dollar ramping up of nuclear weapons, and now doubling of troops in Iraq.

Meanwhile, we have more homeless and hungry children in this country than ever before, and our president is signing *another* round of food stamp cuts and farm bills based on "pension smoothing."

Trashing thread.

Yeah, we helped pay for that, and we cut food stamps to do it.

Putting that in my subject line because I want to remember his name for a long time.

Let me see if I can find it anywhere on Fox.

Just kidding - they won't report on it.
