Incidentally, the Clintons also got married on Oct. 11, 1975.

Curiously enough another show aired on ABC called Saturday Night Live with Howard Cosell (featuring Bill Murray as a regular) earlier in the evening. The NBC show was originally called just Saturday Night, and re-named after Cosell's show was cancelled.
