(11,804 posts)Bernie Sanders (who I keep getting confused with Bernard Goldberg which drives me nuts) - is right now the most likely to run and the closest to my views. But it's possible as we get closer some more people will step in and I will have to evaluate them.
Sanders isn't my ideal candidate but he's better than Clinton for sure.

(3,660 posts)if the primaries were just those two I'd probably on balance go Sanders but not too worried either way. It's a trade off between populist fervor and political savvy.
In the general though only one of two people can plausibly be elected and I'll take literally any human being over allowing the Reps into any political power given the choice.
I wouldn't dare not vote against every Republican I can.

(8,217 posts)Even if I think I might support Bernie Sanders in the primaries.
I would probably support him first or someone else other than HRC dependent on how well they campaign.
My support will probably pass from Bernie, to another, to another to whomever is the LAST person in the primary against HRC.
So, the answer really is, that I will probably support whomever is the strongest Primary Candidate other than HRC, then whomever wins the Primary is the one I will vote for in the General Elections.

(55,894 posts)and I think that person had a more solid chance of garnering votes in the general election- I'd vote for that person.
If no other such candidate came along, I'd vote for Sanders in primary.
Would not ever vote for Hillary in primary and will have to hold my nose to cast my vote for her if she is the nominee.
