It is the first time in her life that she will stop shopping at a store. Nearly 50 years.
She is livid.

(27,315 posts)Their proselytism has been disturbing me since the first time I went there. It is one thing to have a section with religious items. It is another to have religious items of ONE faith throughout the store.
Frankly, I felt very uncomfortable.

So HL is really shooting itself in the foot, by pissing off their primary clientele.

I hope this sinks the Hobby Lobby, which I always avoided because of the overtly religious crap and hymns on the PA system. (2,674 posts)I never shopped much at Hobby Lobby, much of their stuff is inferior to Michaels, but I did like their selection of novelty fabrics. But that said, I will never go in their store again and will warn all my crafting friends to stay away from them. I don't want to go into any store where I have to worry that I match the owner's religious or political beliefs.

Beverlys.com is the fabric store and http://www.save-on-crafts.com/ is my downfall... so many things to drool over!
Anyway, I have no idea of their political affiliation but no where on their about page do they mention the clue words EXCEPT
