Meet Jeremy Meeks. He's a 30-year-old felon who was arrested Wednesday on felony weapons charges during a sweep in the Weston Ranch area of Stockton, Calif., according to Stockton police.

He's also arguably the most popular suspect to grace the Stockton Police Department Facebook page.

Meeks' police mugshot generated 10,914 likes and 2,400 comments from Wednesday night to Thursday morning, many from women claiming to admire his looks.

"Hottttttt," Melissa Stiles wrote.

"Omg come to mama," Nicole Seba Lorena Elena commented.

"Holy [heck] i would arrest him too..hottest bad boy I've seen," Ellie Abbey wrote.

"He can kidnap me anyday... Hold me against my will lol," Jessica Gutierrez commented.

I keep saying what I consider a "bad boy" doesn't seem to match up with others conceptions. Here it does. And from what I can tell he's an asshole. I don't care what he looks like. And is that seriously a teardrop tattoo?

I volunteer from time to time at a half way house for women getting integrated to society from prison. "Bad girls". Its interesting how many of them have shitty abusive backgrounds, and hook up with pretty motherfuckers who, on occasion, get them caught. Their choice. Bad one though.

And I would argue the majority of the people interested in the arts currently (photography, painting, music) are women now. Indeed, if we look at many of the painters of the past they were male but that was in a different era over 100 years ago. We vastly underestimate women's visual prowess and the emotions they can invoke in creating a work of art or putting it into writing with a passion.

I mean, one of them was totally "ripped", like his body was amazing, sculptured, and he had a face like you would see on the cover of those men's fashion magazines. And yet, dude was homeless.
