"Lewinsky said she used to call the Times columnist “Moremean Dowdy,” because of her biting columns about the affair, but added, “today, I’d meet her for a drink."

I will adopt the nickname Lewinsky has for Maureen Dowd, who has often trashed Democrats such as Gore, Dean, Hillary, Obama, etc.

By the way, Moremean is pissed off. See her column today.

And I think the timing of Ms. Lewinsky's public return says it all. She needs to break the pattern of being a useful implement for Republicans to use against the Clinton family. That, and she needs to find a classier drinking buddy than Maureen Dowd---which shouldn't be difficult.
