Further evidence of the demise of "White America"

I know this is generally a political discussion board, but I thought this article was interesting and further proof of the changing of an 'elite segment of America' and people are beginning to panic.

"...We've lost 5 million golfers over the last 10 years and golf courses are being bulldozed over...A lot of them are dying off because they tend to be over 85 year old white men..."

Golf is in trouble. Old white men are dying off and younger people find the sport two slow and boring. The PGA has assembled a task force to try and save the sport.

He's Navajo and, while not the most famous of them, certainly manages to acquit himself well on the course.

Golf isn't in trouble. Lily white golf at restricted membership golf courses is in trouble and it should be.

Who has time to punch a four-hour hole in their day for 18 holes on a regular basis?

maybe this is hurting them in the long run just like the republican party.

but it might also have to do with things like the internet and just other entertainment.
