He's a smart man, smart enough to know that the neocons' itch for WWIII is total madness. Thanks for posting this

in the Ukrainian Constitution, the Republic of Crimea Constitution compared to the American Constitution.

Yep we don’t have any say in what they do.

From my view, and not being a legal person for international law, I did not know Crimea even had its own Constitution with capabilities to create its economic system, or army separate from Ukraine. Or, it is wide open with land of that territory and voting rights.

Yep another in your face typical media/ political education stunt by America’s broken media.

Sort of like knowing Texas talked of separating from the American federation. Wouldn’t that be a hoot if everyone in Texas voted to be a Republic separate and apart from the American federation.

As long as our news medium/political structure is working Reductio ad absurdum maybe America could make a trade agreement to swap Texas with the Republic of Crimea. Talk about a quick way to rid ourselves of Republican wackos.

Bush or Palin or McCain, etc would AT LEAST be seriously considering it. If not outright making the plans and ramping up DoD.

Countries with nuclear weapons don't go to war with each other except through proxies.

he can say those things because he's playing for political points and there's absolutely no chance Obama is going to do anything as utterly mad as deploying troops to Ukraine. If Obama were more bellicose then McCain would be saying something about "needless provocation" and "recklessly putting American troops in harm's way", no doubt.

We will do what we can via sanctions and diplomatic solutions, but not war.
