15. I'll retell something I had witnessed at my sister's house.
Sun Jan 12, 2014, 02:22 PM
Jan 2014

My two sisters, their husbands and I were sitting around the kitchen table one Sunday afternoon.

My sister's friend stops by, who is the wife of a famous professional baseball pitcher in our area.

My sister makes a comment about her face and my brother-in-law from the other sister (who is a lawyer) makes a flippant comment about whether her husband was beating her. I didn't really notice anything wrong with her at first. She gets upset and within minutes has to leave.

Two days later, my sister tells me that she'd left her husband and filed for divorce due to repeated incidents of domestic battery.

===

I had never met this woman before, but the others had. I didn't notice anything out of the norm just by doing a casual glance. Only after my brother-in-law said something, did I stare at her to see if I could see what they were talking about.

There seems to be a lot of anger in Christie. Hopefully, his wife and kids won't go underground for a week or so and will stay visible.

(1) Christie is lying through his teeth when he says that he knew nothing about what his staff was doing -- in which case he is dishonest

(2) Christie honestly did not know what his staff was doing -- in which case he is a lousy manager

In either case, he has shown that he is not qualified to be President.

all go a third round but the law says NO.. and PBO and fam probably want to get back to another life that isn't WH all the time.

I'm thinking they've done so much for us in their time in Office and have learned so much that they will be doing something spectacular after 2016.. more than any other ex-president. 'Cause that's just the way they roll.

But, but, but, Chris Christy was their big savior! karl rove: "he's exactly the kind of president we need " after learning about the GWB scandal.

I love seeing the front pages of newspapers all together like this. I've even gone out to buy the papers as I want to show support for investigatory journalism, especially right at this time.

Of course, I live right here in the hotbed of all this--Wildstein and Christie grew up in the town next to me. Wildstein was the mayor of that town, so the newspapers are all easy to get.

I love the Trentonian. They have the best covers!
