(55,745 posts)Bartcop coined the term "Bush Family Evil Empire" to denote the 60-year pre-eminence of one family in the formation of the political philosophy in the United States, that of the War Party. And, yes, personally, I have tried to chronicle their influence on the ascension of the national security state. At least three generations have held high national office, while also making big money off war and looting the public Treasury. The last president of the United States, a man who wasn't elected fair and square by any stretch of the imagination, actually said: "Money trumps peace" at a press conference. For some reason, not a single "journalist" had the guts to ask him what he meant by that.
Why that doesn't bother you is your business. It does bother me.
PS: Something I've notice about you is that you never seem to post anything that adds to what we know about these treasonous warmongers. I do remember that you do like to post funny pictures and emoticons about those who try to shed light on the un-democratic crime family.

(62,325 posts)it were not for people like you, the few who are left, and all that DU consisted of was ugly threads like this which is below even Utube comment standards, there would be a huge exodus from DU and I know that for a fact.

Cover art from Lies Of Our Times - A Magazine to Correct the Record, published between 1990-1994.
One would think more people would know the above facts. Thank heavens DU is a place where readers can learn them.
You also are brave, sabrina 1. In a time where NSA can record every keystroke, you continue to fight for truth, democracy and justice. If you didn't, these concepts could soon be extinct. Seems more than one DUer would be happy with that.
sabrina 1
(62,325 posts)and their willingness to speak out about it. The desperation is evident which only makes people all the more determined to seek out and find the truth about the lies we are constantly told.
Under Bush people were scared for a while when he instituted all these spying programs and the bullies were online back then too, threatening people who dared to question Bush's lies. But people made a decision airc, the more people who speak out, the harder it is for them to go after them.
And each time they silence one, like Manning, more spring up, see Snowden.
They just never learn.
I am happy to see that it is a majority, a huge majority still, despite all their money and power and bullying, who is still speaking out and THEY have zero credibility except among their own small contingency.

But for me, I make lemonade when I find lemons. I love to see Sid in threads that need attention, either because they are so ugly, like this one and DU should get to see that, or because they are so interesting, like Octafish's and they might not get the attention they deserve without Sid's always dependable input.
I want to thank Sid, for bringing Octafish into this thread eg. To provide something of value to an otherwise shameful thread.

Bugloaf tipped us off about this flower power hack. University of Washington researchers, Babak, Brian, and Carlton have developed very low power circuits to run directly off of trees. This builds upon the work of MIT researchers and Voltree Power. A voltage of up to around 200mV is generated between an electrode in a tree and an electrode in the ground.
Identical metals can be used as electrodes as the process is not like that of a lemon or potato battery. The significant development here is the use of a boost converter and exceptionally low power circuits.
What kind of applications can you come up with for this source of power?
Maybe you could try to combine this power with the power from donuts and hair.
See link at bottom of page for more important stories of plants being hacked:
* Arduino compatible Christmas tree
* Producing Ozone at 3500 RPM
* Home built stun baton turns you into a cop from Demolition Man
* HHO generator makes bubbles that go boom
* Morse code flower is trying to tell you something

(6,199 posts)If Walker was in fact killed by an autonomous drone strike, it would behoove U.S. authorities to see to make sure the truth does not come out under any circumstance. In the aftermath of state-sponsored black operations such as assassinations and terror attacks, intelligence agencies routinely disseminate fraudulent dis-information through various media outlets such as CNN and TMZ in order spin stories and create confusion. The tragic death of Walker is no different.
By engaging in critical thinking and employing deductive logic, a more clear and concise picture of how Walker died and who is responsible will hopefully emerge. By examining the following evidence (or lack thereof), the world will be able to decide for themselves who and what to believe. After all, the goal of any real journalist or Fast and Furious fan should be to find out what really happenedsomething Im quite sure Paul Walker would have wanted.
