OK stupid question here. Why can't Obama just send drones or the military drop dirent bombs

on Assaud's house and all the things he owns. I mean is he in hiding? We killed BinLauden right?

Why is it so hard to kill a brutal dictator and what is wrong with it?

Why not just go to the U.N. and let THEM take action. Never realized how much Obama would stray from his original message in 2004 at the DNC convention. America is wrong to attack Syria and the consequences, this time, for interfering unilaterally will be terrible, I'm afraid.

When we enter into international agreements the President signs then and then the Congress has to ratify them for us to be a Party. So in a very real sense they are 'enacted' by the same body who makes the rest of our national laws.

It's interesting that the President is insisting that this is supposed to be a very limited, surgical strike, just to slap Assad's wrist, while people of his own party (Markley, in an an interview yesterday) said that we should give the President the power to wage war.

So, which is it? Are we planning to take him out altogether, or are we just planning to whack his pee-pee?

Either way, it's the innocents who will suffer. As usual.

... (your term, not mine), is that running drones and bombers over territory that has a modern, Russian supplied and supported, integrated air defense system, is highly problematic. The drones wouldn't last long enough to do their missions. Unless we go in with massive air defense suppression and command and control strikes, manned bombers and fighters would take heavy losses. I don't think we're up for that.

And what are "dirent" bombs? I can't even figure out for what it might be a misspelling.
