I hope he throws in something about giving humanitarian aid to the people of Syria and not arming rebels or giving support.

I hope he says that we are committed to working through diplomatic channels with our friends the Russian and Chinese people to apply economic pressures on the assad regime to be more accurate when fighting rebels in Syria

to say that while it is strongly believed assad used the weapons, no incontrovertible proof exists at this time and that the us will be monitoring the situation in the future and may at a future date act militarily if it becomes necessary
