The last thing Chuck Weintraub remembers is pushing a lawnmower through his Cranberry yard, surrounded by his three dogs.

When he awoke three days later from a medically induced coma, he was stunned to learn that Chloe — a dog so timid that she covered her eyes with her paws when stressed — had saved his life.

I hope the Weintraubs keep her - they would all be heartbroken if they gave her up.

My pitbull mix did the same thing with me, only it wasn't life threatening. She lead me - in 10-foot increments - to the back door when I forgot to close it and left it propped open. When she got to the stairs, she went down, sat outside for 5 seconds, then came back in the house, running up the stairs. Amazing!

Yup, funny how they'll do that very thing.

Good man/family for fostering. Good pup for what she did. Great story, thanks so much for posting.
