(21,020 posts)How can anyone who believes that stupidity (about same sex parents ruining the lives of their children) totally IGNORE the fact that lots of opposite sex parents ruin the lives of the children they raise?
Do they really think heterosexuals DON'T fuck their kids up?
Sure...there will probably be same sex couples who do it "wrong"...just like opposite sex couples will.
But they're not more prone to failure because of their sexuality.
People are scary.
Judge Judy someday and see what supposedly "normal" parents end up with! Yeah, I know, Judge Judy. This is what happens when a husband retires far too soon.
Her show just about every day while I'm making dinner!
Some of the parents are so messed up, especially the divorced ones who put the kids in the middle
I like when she tells them that they have to love their kids more than they hate each other

(51,666 posts)liking EVERYTHING he says and does. You, OTOH, with your black-and-white thinking that is so typical of the RW, can't understand that (or you are just being difficult).
But carry on with your endless, divisive attacks against DUers rather than the RW. You are showing your true colors, and we always appreciate that.

(3,411 posts)What are the chances of these unplanned pregnancies where one or both parents will not love the child? How many children have to deal with only one parent loving them (and with boys for instance, issues with the father because the father doesn't want to be a father.)

Right wingers always rant about how not having a father is terrible for you but then shut up when you ask them if the kids best off then must be the ones with two dads.

(753 posts)My father was a year old when his mother died in a car crash. My grandfather was devastated, he had no family other then his three young children to turn to. He also has a good friend named Ben, a man from Rhode Island, that helped him along the way. In time their relationship blossomed beyond a simple friendship, to this day they both say that it was a miracle.
Ben, who is my grandfather, and too all my cousins. He is also a father to my father. He is a great man, my father adores, he is the one that taught him everything that there is to know about welding. He is the one that helped my father battle through many of the pains of life. Ben Tatum is his name, well soon to be Ben Flores. My grandfather!!
