I don't like a lot of things he's done/failed to do, but beyond the "better than McCain/Romney" argument in Obama's favor, what it means, personally, to millions for him to be president is an easily-underestimated benefit of having Barack Obama in the White House. And he and his family live in that spotlight with such grace and dignity while still remaining down to earth it's really amazing.
