please tell us what the current House of Representatives will pass that will make you happier than what we had before today's Supreme Court decision.
also, now that we lack the section that protected minorities in certain states from changes to voting laws, can you tell us which of those protections now removed will be in effect if no replacement is passed by congress in the future?
exactly what requires congress to restore those protections that now do not exist? if you can name something, what is the binding timeline on that for replacement of those provisions, previously a matter of law thanks to the Voting Rights Act, but now not in effect.
the majority in the House didn't want Section 4 and now that the court has struck it down, who here believes these same people will restore its provisions?
