Many outraged by "alcohol is cheaper than therapy" billboard

Outrageous! That's what many are calling a Las Vegas billboard that reads, "Alcohol: It's cheaper than therapy."

The owner of Lee's Discount Liquor says the sign simply mirrors his store's tongue-in-cheek television ads.

Many say it's a very bad joke. One offended passerby said, "it's kind of like persuading people to drink and then drink even more."

Amid the criticism and complaints from his own customers, the owner of the liquor store has decided to remove the billboard.

Yes, advertising for a liquor store should discourage people from drinking.

But technically, alcohol is a solvent, not a solution unless one includes a solute, or a miscible liquid.

Of course, given that that's the normal way it is consumed, your post may be correct in practice.
