(39,961 posts)the two companies don't remotely do the same thing unless you think that they have communication devices makes them the same. It's like saying having a security system in your house is like running an entire email system for several thousand customers at a time is the same.
NOT equivalent.

(51,122 posts)I admire Microsoft greatly on many levels and wish that Bill Gates would return and boot out his useless college roommate.
Samsung is a blip that will end up like Sony. They are so corrupt internally, that the South Korean government made them set up three CEO positions, so that they can watch each other.

I am a HUGE fan of Android and adore my Samsung Note 2. It's not the same as a database software architecture.

(3,270 posts)And Jobs didn't push the 20+ pilot stores in Japan to mimic this exact model?
Oh so silly. I'm sure glad they invented the phone and computers. Stay foolish.

(39,961 posts)how are you folks after Sandy? This seems like Microsoft trying to buy a bunch of detritus after Sandy without cleaning it up. No offense intended, just the analogy that it amounts to, and I hope you folks are doing well

(39,961 posts)It should be called Titanic 8.
And understand - It's mean to be a Titanic 8 and everything else to bring the company careening down. To many people that can profit, if there are a few that can profit HUGELY. You nerd it first. I know, I'm full of shit, don't understand the stock market, am ignorant. Watch it. In 1 year, Microsoft will be worth half it's value in stock and options. Bet me.
