Something I've been thinking about a lot lately. Risking reputation and life and freedom for the greater good of all and for truth requires a foundation of love beyond self. It has nothing to do with greed or self advancement..it has everything to do with discernment and the ability to heed the inner voice which is somehow attached to our moral compass. It's rare and not so rare and yet, I think, it must be a factor which determines inner peace and strength. Its very easy to be herded and requires little soul searching. Its' not easy to do the right thing in the face of huge adversity. I think that is what redemption is about. Eventually doing the right thing.

..my post is about the moment in time when one is faced with a decision..to risk everything.. comfort and safety.. and act. What really are the consequences if you know something is wrong, and don't act? Staying willfully ignorant might be an excuse but, probably not, in the long run.
