Do you remember when Verizon did it? I do and I called them because my phone would not work

It was the day after the marathon bombing. They told me it was an optic cable in my area...never happened before or since and there are lots of towers everywhere. I guessed to myself what they were doing but I can tell you that there was an interruption in service as they were setting this up.
