Me.

I really thought things would be different. I really did have hope. I remember being so proud to have cast my first ever ballot in 2008. Those toons hurt.

7. Obama has GW's smirk?

I really don't think so. Barack is at least poised, sophisticated, intelligent, articulate and thinks before he speaks.

GW is an entitled semi-educated sociopath that can barely use his own fucking language*.

PS - I'm finding this scandal to be very difficult to sort out in terms of chronology and facts. I don't have the brains for this perpetual 11 dimensional chess any more!

Is there some form of journalistic rosetta stone on this entire scandal? I'm forming my understanding based on all-over-the-place DU posts and links and I'm drowning in misinformation to the extent I feel like I'm being toyed with by rouge CIA psyops efforts that have infested our mainstream media since at least the end of WW2.

... they've been fighting this stuff since Bush. They've found the Obama administration has not only not increased transparency and safeguards as promised, but has uniformly resisted any limitation or accountability on domestic spying.

https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2012/10/fact-check-obamas-misleading-answer-about-warrantless-wiretapping-daily-show

To the contrary, there’s no indication that the still-active warrantless wiretapping program—which includes a warrantless dragnet on millions of innocent Americans’ communications—has significantly changed from the day Obama took office. With regard to the FISA Amendments Act, the Obama Administration has actively opposed all proposed safeguards in Congress. All the while, his Administration has been even more aggressive than President Bush in trying to prevent warrantless wiretapping victims from having their day in court and has continued building the massive national security infrastructure needed to support it.

I was just told that NO ONE is outraged about this except for a few posters at DU.

You made all these cartoons yourself didn't you.

When Democrats lose, they complain about spy programs
When they win, they embrace them.
