Earth's Orbit

If you have read our list on 25 crazy facts about the universe
then you know that the Earth is surrounded by nearly 4 million pounds of space debris.
The image you see above was actually generated by NASA
to show which ones are presently being tracked.

Same as anywhere else. Those who are doing the polluting and those who live far from the pollution don't really care much about it because "it doesn't affect me."

And corruption is endemic there.

For one thing, they passed a "clunker law" that says you can drive a car that's more than 10 years old only on even or odd days, depending on what number the license plate ends in. That alone reduced smog by a considerable amount.

Most of the other places are not doing anything, it's been a tradeoff between corporate jobs and corporate pollution or no jobs, poverty, and little pollution.

I would imagine that immigrants from these countries must think that the U.S. and Canada are pristine and unspoiled. I have absolutely no desire to go to India. China and Russia aren't tops on my list, either.
