I got this in the mail and was wondering if anyone used their service - CREDO moble

Yes it is the same Credo the fights for progressive causes and now they have a cell phone. They are offering 40% off your monthly voice fee for a year with a 2 year service agreement. And they will pay up to $350 to buy you out of your old plan.

Just curious is anyone has this or knows about it. I need to change plans soon and get the Hell rid of Verison.

When they say "Data Plans" as opposed to "Voice Plans" I know that Data Plans are for the Smart phones and for emailing and doing things on the web but does that include talking on the phone or do you need to get a voice plan with a data plan?

All you need is a voice plan.

If you have a smart phone you need a combination of voice and data plans.

We wish we'd have done it sooner, we pay more every month and are happy to do so, we saw some Credo produced protest signs on TV one night and we were proud to be their customers.

but I'm having trouble setting up the voicemail as it keeps telling me that my number is not a recognized mailbox. The technical support people are easily reachable, very friendly, and very easy to work with, but they had to submit a "trouble ticket" to Sprint, which provides the underlying service. This hasn't been resolved yet going on 4 days.
