Rick Wilson of The Lincoln Project is optimistic.

Florida passed a six week abortion ban, but the right to one is on that state’s ballot in November. That will be a turnout driver making Florida in play. Trump will have to defend a state that he normally wouldn’t have to.

Meanwhile, hundreds of thousands of GOP voters are still turning out in swing states’ primaries to vote against Trump.

The economy is improving and Biden looks like he wants to help Americans by eliminating all those gouging fees.

While everything is catching up with Trump and when he’s not in court, he’s on Truth Social whining about how terrible America is. He’s lost his swagger just looks like a tired, old man.

We can’t let our guard down, but Rick makes a good case for optimism.

years and years ago. His fundraising is collapsing. His persona is getting worse by the day. He's getting more demented day by day. I am surprised that we haven't seen someone on DU or other related sites start to maintain a daily sanity check (grade from 1 to really bad to 100, not so bad). Idiot seems to think that no one else is noticing his little glitches, but we are.

skyrocketing. People are blaming President Biden even tho we are one of the countries doing best with inflation. People don't care.

5. Inflation hasn't actually increased the past few months.

Or it increased at its normal historical rates, I can’t remember which. If people think prices are going to go down to what they were pre-2022 then they’re mistaken. That pretty much never happens.

how expensive everything is. This is a very popular topic, unfortunately way too many people believe donald trump does better for the USA with finances than President Biden.

People will vote for a rapist who is a spy and tries to start a revolution if they believe he will be better with their money.

We have no other choice. But the good news is that this election isn’t going to just be about prices, remember women are super pissed about Roe, several recent races have had Democrats over performing due to that issue.
