Sad state of affairs. The sentences should have been reversed.

(She had a record, didn’t know if she could, asked and allowed to cast a provisional ballot.)


She was acquitted of the charge in March, but the DA is pushing the state’s highest criminal court to review that decision and convict Mason again.

In Tuesday’s meeting of the Tarrant County Commissioner’s Court which was packed with Mason’s supporters, Tarrant DA Phil Sorrells defended his decision to push for Mason to be convicted once again.

3. Doesn't change the point, but the Texas woman's conviction was eventually overturned. Shouldn't have happened.

I read some ignorant rube Texas DA is wanting to renew the charges, but doubt that will get far.
