GOP bill seeks to deport anti-Israel protestors to Gaza

Not a joke.

A House Republican has told Newsweek why she is introducing new legislation which would deport any foreign national charged with a crime at "pro-terrorism or antisemitic rallies" anywhere in the United States.

Rep. Beth Van Duyne, from Texas, who has sponsored a proposed amendment to immigration laws, said legislative change is needed due to pro-Palestinian demonstrations on American campuses which she claimed had promoted "violence" and "extremism" with "college after college not responding."

It's not like the community is in a position to properly take care of guests; and I hear there is a shortage of lodging.
Why are Republicans so mean?

Sending a very democracy-minded Uruguayan student with a blood allergy to Gaza would be so wrong.

Women are trapped in TX if they are pregnant, but they'll be deported from the US if the say they disagree with current Israeli military policies on GAZA.

Texas republicans have completely lost the narratives.

I mean, they all took an oath to serve America, so when they break that oath, even if US citizens, they should be deported, right?

The first deportations from the United States took place in 1794 by Massachusetts, following a rush of poor Irish immigrants to the U.S. east coast, under a 1794 Massachusetts law which permitted such deportations.

As president Eisenhower deported over 1.25 million during his "operation wetback".

I think that could be why Trump includes that in his campaign rants about undocumented immigrants.

In 2015, following an article by Breitbart News that made a false allegation that a court in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex followed Sharia law, Van Duyne pushed for a vote on a resolution in the Irving City Council that expressed support of a bill in the Texas Legislature seeking to ban Sharia law.[9][10] Also in 2015, when Ahmed Mohamed, a 14-year-old Muslim boy, was arrested for bringing a homemade clock, which teachers thought was a bomb, to school, Van Duyne defended the school's and the Irving Police Department's actions.[11][12] She was named as a co-defendant in a defamation lawsuit initiated by Mohamed's father.[13] Van Duyne was dismissed from the suit, based partially on the Texas Citizens Participation Act, a state law that "prohibits the use of lawsuits to intimidate or silence citizens and public officials from exercising their right of free speech."[14][15]

Around me the few people who voted for "uninstructed" will be voting Biden in the General.

Uninstructed is the way WI puts it on the primary. It was mostly done to send Biden a message that supporting Netanyahu's devastation of civilian homes, infrastructure, and lives wasn't what those voters wanted.

Arguably, Biden has heard that and isn't giving Netanyahu a loose rein on American aid. Just the other day Biden interrupted weapons transfers because American bombs were used for Israel's hit inside Syria.
