4. Is Israel's desire to attack Rafah because it's the only place left with any infrastructure?

Making Gaza unlivable was Netanyahu’s real goal. Given all the warnings he had of an imminent attack, I believe he allowed the attack to happen because it gave him an excuse to start another war to take Palestinian land. The conflict between Israel and the Palestinians has mostly been about the land and who gets it. Israel has sworn to take it all and leave the Palestinians with nothing. Netanyahu’s solution is to divide the Palestinians among other Arab countries so they can never have their own state and he can erase them and their culture.
