Trump's treatment of Pecker suggests he has some real negative information about him. Will we find out?
If, for instance, The Enquirer paid to catch and kill a story about Trump paying for a woman's abortion, or even encouraging her to have one, wouldn't that be "fair game" since it's another instance of catch and kill?
Is there a legit way to get to non catch-and-kill information? Would the prosecution try to get to it, or wouldn't it be ethical?

(20,900 posts)Pecker set the stage and motive for the crimes we're about to hear about. What other disgusting things Trump did in his life isn't relevant to the trial.

(182,942 posts)He may one of the few lessers (as he sees it) of Trump who didnt end up getting burned from his association with Trump. It's a long list that includes his own children and over busted for 1,200 Jan. 6th.

(20,900 posts)Was reading other day Pecker took his paper from 700000 a week in sales in 2016 to 50000 post Trump. Apparently Trump can kill even scandal rags. Pecker wasn't any better at business than Trump, from what I read yesterday.
I was surprised when I looked up his net worth and it was $11M. I expected it to be much more.

So i think it's really up to pecker.

(14,876 posts)All details of what the prosecution will present have been disclosed to the defense team.
Unless they ask him a surprise question, there won't be any surprises. The prosecution has likely already asked him all the questions they would ask him in trial during deposition. They don't like surprises either.
