The media contributes to this by engaging in deceptive and massively disproportionate coverage of Israel and the Palestinians.

(2,195 posts)However, I'm not so sure that bigotry comment regarding commitment to real progressive values. that seems to me to be an overstatement. I do agree about deceptive and disproportionate coverage by the media.

(4,834 posts)You know, the antisemitic guys chanting about how the "Jews will not replace us"? Funny how the charges of Antisemitism only show up on some issues even though the charge is supposed to indicate a hatred just based religion/race....and even then is charged against members of that very same religion/race.
I've lost all respect for the charges of antisemitism after a local protest for a cease fire was joined by stooges, clearly sent by some Haredim adherents, showed up for pictures with Swastikas in a blatant attempt to link the protest with "antisemitism".

(5,553 posts)They will claim there isn't much or will trot out the tired cry of outside agitators. It is up to the protesters to police their ranks or have the protests shut down because the acceptable amount of anti-semitism on college campuses is zero.
