...to defend Primary petitions for reform candidates being challenged by the Kings County Democratic Party leadership. They have a notorious reputation for holding on to power by trying to knock opponents off the ballot rather than run qualified candidates. Apparently my own petitions aren't being challenged.

with an Election Judge, a BOE staff person, two County Committee representatives filing objection
and the County Party Chair hovering around the room. Were going through each petition line by line, confirming data and the Election Judge accepting or denying objections (mostly signature matching). Generally getting 6-7 valid signatures per 10-line sheet.Thisll go on for hours.
NB: the physical petition sheets are treated like gold. The staffer can only pull one packet at a time , and can never leave them unattended.
