For Marge and her ilk, the answer to your question would 100% be "Nothing, or not much, and allow Ukraine to perish/be destroyed."

Trump hates Zelensky's guts ever since he refused to go along with Trump's "dig up fake dirt on Biden" extortion scheme. I'm sure he hates Ukraine, too, for the same reason. He also admires Putin greatly and is grateful to him for the Russian interference in the 2016 election that helped get Trump into the White House.

In other words, Trump is completely on Putin's side. He doesn't just not care; I'm sure he actively roots for Putin to take over Ukraine.

Trump minions like MTG, Gaetz, and other members of the Lips Firmly Attached to Trump's Ass Caucus (aka the so-called Freedom Caucus) take their orders from Trump and want whatever he wants; therefore, giving help to Ukraine is something they will oppose to their last dying breath.

If the Senate makes any changes, like deleting poison pill riders by the Nutcase Caucus, it will have to go back to the House, where it will not pass and they'll amend it again. Then it will go back to the Senate.

We have to hope the riders aren't objectionable enough thaty the Senate will pass the bill as is. It's the only way to allow it to exit Johnson's ping pong game to please his Lard and Savior.

Ukraine needs this aid and they need it now. Those additional Patriot batteries aren't going to do them much good without the missiles to fire, although it looks like something they've managed to come up with has exceeded the Patriot's range and is now shooting down planes much farther away.
