Will it be worse for America if Trump wins or if Trump loses?

Will there be more violence if he loses or if he wins?

Does it even matter? The very idea that he is running again for President is bad enough for America. The thought that he might win and crack down on his political enemies, as he has promised, or that he might lose and call his followers to violence, should never have been in the cards to begin with, in my opinion. He should have been in jail a long time ago.

Now, many in the television news are attempting to "normalize" his run for the White House.

Also, if he wins the White House, but the Democrats take the House and Senate, would that be the best outcome in the next election? Republicans plan on riding his coattails as far as he can drag them.

Is there any way to escape the coming violence, other than leaving the country?

We can handle whatever violence might erupt, but we cannot handle the further damage to our institutions and democracy.

It’ll be best that he loses, and that his face self combusts on national TV. Melania will be close by to put it out with an ice pick.

The deranged cultists will do violence either way, and I'd far prefer having an administration inclined to handle and mitigate such behavior over one that encourages it.

We have had 4 years of jailing these asshole now. So We CAN deal with these terrorists if Joe is in the White house.

Many of those "don't try that in a small town" Trump supporters are genuinely scared shitless of big cities. I actually met quite a few on a recent cross country road trip. When many learned I was traveling from the Chicago area they recoiled in horror because of all of the crime and immigrants and tent cities and drug use. I would comment that those things did exist in pockets of Chicago, but Chicago was a huge City and there was a reason thousands of people come to visit the city for its world class art, entertainment, architecture. That I frequently go downtown and the only place I personally had been a victim of crime was a suburb and smaller town. That there was a reason Trump and other conservatives invested in putting up Trump towers and other large developments in such big cities, while contributing nothing to their small communities. I said all sized communities have advantages and disadvantages. I hope I gave them something to think about, while I doubt they will never vote for a Democratic President, they didn't continue the confrontation with me. They will not be storming any Capitols.

Trump winning and declaring immunity to do whatever he wants with US regulations, resources, military, etc. would be the end of the United States.

Visit with friends, help other people. Like always. No matter what.

We are living in an era where fear is hustled from all corners. Dont buy it.

There is a non-zero risk of violence. Live life and do what you can to help Joe and the Dems.

If he loses, some of his loser followers may break bad, but we know how to handle them.

They are too small a minority to pose any serious threat, and cowards at heart. There's no way we can let some imaginary fear of what they'd do if tRump loses rule over the sane choice of electing Joe Biden.

He can do a great deal of damage in office...we will have to deal with the violence at some point.

If Trump wins, fascism, Nazism, and dictatorships win. A police state wins

Democracy and free and fair elections DIE.

If Biden wins, hey, bring it on.

Let's not live in fear of these fkrs. Imo, it's the traitors, Russian collaborators, and treasonous insurrectionist who should be afraid.

Problem as I see it is the GOP is broken and the likelihood we will see sane political moves from them in the future feels small. If not Trump, someone else, but the GOP will eventually win again. And then what?

That is a major reason for the mess.

It will be more difficult to challenge the outcomes. That is those on election boards that supported him will be less inclined to certify in his favor.

There will be more eyes on what is happening both at the local and national level.

There will be plans in place to prevent or minimize riots.
