100 years ago - A "return to normalcy", the Roarin' Twenties, and then, the Depression.

Warren Harding, a Republican, called for a "return to normalcy" after WWI had ended and people's lives had been uprooted by the "Spanish flu". He called for isolationism and deregulation on businesses as a way to return to normalcy.

What followed was the Roarin' Twenties and then the stock market crash of 1929.

That was followed by the Great Depression.

Do you think we are on a similar track?
