https://nypost.com/2024/03/27/us-news/robert-f-kennedy-jr-s-vp-pick-has-a-long-history-of-supporting-criminal-justice-reform/Nicole Shanahan, independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.s running mate, has a long history of donating to soft-on-crime causes, including leading a foundation that spent big on groups opposed to mandatory minimum prison sentences and supporting the removal of police from schools.
The 38-year-old, who has spoken about her involvement with criminal justice reformers in San Francisco, is the founder and president of the Bia-Echo Foundation, which has contributed more than $11.6 million to left-wing causes, according to a review of receipts by The Post.
The bulk of that money, $10 million, went to the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, which passed the cash to organizations advocating for lighter prison terms and supporting lawyers representing illegal migrants in the US.
The foundation also sent $625,000 to Impact Justice, which advocates giving homeowners stipends in exchange for housing newly released prisoners in private homes and whose founder, Alex Busansky, has called the US prison system a direct legacy of slavery.

Dare I hope the Reich Wing is going to sink RFK Jr's campaign--more so than he could on his own?

(3,300 posts)1. JVL at Bulwark had some fun info about this VP--
She was married to Google founder, and allegedly canoodled with Musk at some point. Got mucho buckos in divorce settlement, and has been bankrolling RK Jr (I will NOT call him RFK!). Buying her way into the campaign?

Ya know the one where they use an old JFK ad from the sixties. Robert did an if anyone was offended apologies to the family. Obviously, he didnt mean it since he chose her to be his running mate.

She could have come up with a vaccine to eradicate cancer, and even that couldnt help her. For obvious reasons.

(597 posts)7. Not sure how this sinks his campaign with the left.
If anything, it'll bolster him among those on the left who are upset at Biden for a lot of his positions and equally turn off potential conservative voters who may go back to Trump, especially over immigration.
