Fifth Circuit keeps Texas immigration law blocked

Late last night, a 2-1 Fifth Circuit panel formally denied Texas’s request to put #SB4 (its controversial new immigration law) back into effect pending appeal:

Texas can seek en banc review or go to #SCOTUS—or wait for the merits argument next Wednesday.
