and I still just can not believe we are here as a country…….how the hell did this happen. I know Roe vs Wade started it all, but damn, I just can’t even believe it’s been two years since that gawd damn verdict. I just can’t believe we’re here supposedly one of the best and modern and leaders in the world potentially banning an abortion pill. 🤬 🤬 🤬

The SC has upended the notion of redress for actual harm suffered by a plaintiff and instead now considers cases where no actual harm exists, cases especially manufactured to get to the SC on appeal to push a religious agenda that this court is all too eager to alliw.

The only way to overturn it, if that is what happens, is to hear the case. If they did not, the r/w judge's decision would remain law.

And not cry for every woman who has needed or may need this treatment. Why the hell males have the right to preside over an issue that does not affect them is beyond my understanding. At no point do they consider the danger pregnancy presents.

If the drug "injures" doctors in hospitals forced to treat adverse events, could that also be used with gun shot injuries?

And if they can refuse to help, based on moral objections, would that also not apply to gunshots?

Opens a can of worms!

Outside of Thomas, of course.

Was listening in the shower, and kept rolling my eyes. A lot of the topics they're discussing aren't something judges are equipped to make decisions about. Coney Barrett got into FDA approval processes and it sounded like she googled half an article right before the hearing.

I really do enjoy Justice Jackson. No matter what's going on, she punches right to the point. It felt like she was thisclose to saying, "You know this is all bullshit" when she was discussing the retracted studies.

The forced-birth doc who might not like abortion doesn't balance with the de-stabilizing effect internationally. She got the final word and it was clear and solid and forceful.

However, surprised there wasn't over reach, but pretty sure Roberts and another one would have tossed the case if standing was an issue. I'm sure Alito and Thomas wouldn't give a s_____

We need to have a massive Democratic Tsunami to add more Justices to the Supreme Court with term limits and criminal liability for bribery, overturn Citizens United, pass one vote right of all American citizens, and dump the electoral college.

Now, let's get it done at home and the Federal level.

On edit:
Sorry I yelled. Suddenly I miss my friend Leona so much. All during the Trump years (and beyond) she’d periodically phone me to fume: “Do you know what they just did?! “ and then we could have a good mutual rant for an hour. She died one year ago, and damn, I could use one of those phone calls right now.
