How smart do they think they are?
Just my observation, but they act like they are the most informed voters on earth when they start spouting their propaganda. They are super proud of what they have learned since they joined the "cult". They have an answer for every question. If you think you can trick them into agreeing with facts outside their world, they will quickly inform you that if Donald Trump did it or said it, then he had a very good reason to do so, and they trust him over all the fake news.
Stupidity is to be celebrated, not to be castigated or vilified. After all, why would so many people show up at a Trump rally and hardly anyone shows up at a Biden rally? Answer that, Einstein! Isn't that proof that Trump won the election and Joe Biden never received the votes that they reported?
But, don't call them a "Cult". They don't like that. They are enlightened Americans who realized that there was only one guy willing to "tell it like it is". Why do you have so much difficulty understanding that?

(3,047 posts)I do think many only drink the Kool-Aid to a limited extent. Some just want no restrictions on guns, others want to outlaw abortion, others lower taxes, allowance for White nationalism, etc....basically one issue voters where THAT issue is the deciding factor never mind that everything else Trump does may be counter to their and the country's long term interests. We see it as dumb, they see it as the easy (I don't have to think and hurt my head) answer.

(49,046 posts)It's a problem dealing with stupid people who don't know how stupid they are and are kind of oblivious to the harm they do.
They have tender egos, evidenced by the frequent protestations of victimhood, so they can't be told directly that they are not smart enough to understand certain things, nor do they accept any information if it doesn't confirm their held viewpoints.

(36,532 posts)I suspect a lot of them are not very bright, either, because skin color as a litmus test of superiority is as stupid as using hair color or eye color or any number of other physical attributes that have nothing to do with one's mental or physical capabilities.
It is so sad that this is so true for so many people:
"If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he'll empty his pockets for you.

List of federal judges appointed by Donald Trump
They're so young, most of them. They'll be in place for years.
Oh, yeah, school boards, county boards of supervisors ... The list goes on.
