Bank accounts and other cash equivalents will go first; most of the real estate is encumbered with mortgages or co-owners. The golf resorts are probably among the least valuable properties because they are not easy to re-sell, they require upkeep, and the state isn't in the business of managing properties used by the public. I think they'd be pretty low on the list.

have a friend who worked on liquidating properties from the s&l crash. there r companies that specialize in shit like this. took over 10 yrs to move all those properties, but we made a fair amount of money. during those 10 yrs they were well run, which is y it worked.
plenty of folks out there who can run a golf course way better than tsf.

and ftr, every banker says they dont want to b in the property selling biz, but trust me, that’s a lie. they cream the best properties, and the sweetest deals for themselves and their cronies. have bought bo properties.

For the land itself than for the golfing. They're invariably in desirable areas, and that so much of the land is already cleared of trees and other obstacles would make them attractive for setting up housing developments, shopping centers or office parks.

I doubt that very many people would turn down the chance to acquire such prime real estate at a government auction.

The golf courses could be mortgaged, co-owned or otherwise encumbered, like so much of his real estate.

Wouldn't those debts have to be paid off before the state can get their payments? Or is it the other way around, the government gets the first cut?

Sure would be nice. Except to passengers on commercial flights who would be thereby inconvenienced.

Coordinate the seizures with the DOJ -- starting with whichever property is the strongest candidate for Trump hiding additional stolen classified documents.

Will be a lot easier to get search access when the new owner -- the State of New York -- simply consents to the searches directly.
